The ongoing conflict has severely impacted many aspects of life, including the education and futures of these dedicated individuals.These aspiring dentists have completed their rigorous studies and practical training under unimaginable conditions.
Now, they face a new challenge: the inability to pay their outstanding fees to release their university certificates. Without these certificates, they cannot obtain their transcript of studies, register with the Palestinian Dental Council and register to practice abroad; leaving their dreams and the needs of their communities unmet.
The outstanding fees for each graduate range from £5,000 to £10,000, totaling around £100,000 for 18 students. These students were already in a difficult financial position before the conflict, and now their situation is dire.
